The Property at a Glance

  • Sleeps 10-12 - Accommodation includes four bedrooms in the main house, one bedroom in the self contained annexe.

  • Dogs Welcome - One well-behaved dog is permitted. Dogs are not allowed upstairs.

  • Bedding & Towels - All bedding and towels are provided. Additional towels are available for use with the sauna and cold plunge.

  • Heating & Air Conditioning - The house features underfloor heating and air conditioning throughout for year round comfort.

  • Garden & Grounds - Set within a two and a half acre plot, the property enjoys an orchard to the front and a park like garden to the rear with beautiful views of the South Downs. A large patio wraps around the house, providing plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxation. The driveway offers ample parking, and the property is fully enclosed with an in and out electric wooden gate. A post and rail fence with stock fencing surrounds the perimeter to ensure safety for children and dogs.

  • Fireplaces & Fire Pit - A wood store is located behind the house, with logs provided for both the indoor fire and outdoor fire pits.

  • Outdoor Cooking - A large Weber gas BBQ and an XL Big Green Egg are available for outdoor cooking. Guests can enjoy outdoor seating, sun loungers, and parasols throughout the garden.

  • Gym, Wellness & Spa Facilities - A path leads to the top of the garden where a fully equipped gym with bi-fold doors opens onto the surrounding countryside. The gym includes a treadmill, rowing machine, SkiErg, Peloton bike, weight rack, full weight set, trampoline, punching bag, vibroplate, weight bench, sandbags, battle ropes, kettlebells, foam rollers, and mats. There is also a Cadillac Pilates bed with trapeze frame. For relaxation and recovery, guests can enjoy an infrared sauna (for up to five people), outdoor shower, and cold plunge.

  • Outdoor Activities - The house provides two mountain bikes, a table tennis table, and two paddle boards with a pump for use at the beaches, or the Cuckmere River. Garden games include croquet, badminton, boules, and cricket equipment for guests to enjoy.

  • Additional Services - Catering, massage and beauty treatments, cookery courses, and babysitting can all be arranged on request. Wines, spirits, and soft drinks can be stocked at the house ahead of your arrival. Daily housekeeping and additional cleaning services can also be arranged to suit your stay.
